Project Description: The plant in question is located in the municipality of Leno (BS) at Via Calvisano, 30. The industrial area has been identified via aerial photography. The system will be connected to the medium-voltage POD.
The total system capacity will be 413.105 kW (1,073 panels of 385 Watts each) and the equivalent hours will be 1,105, corresponding to an annual production of 456,315.07 kWh.
It was decided to utilize the maximum available surface by installing a storage system with a power of 60 kW and a capacity of 118.50 kWh, capable of absorbing energy that would otherwise be fed into the grid and then supplying it to users during periods of low solar irradiation.
The self-consumption level of the energy produced by the system is estimated to be approximately 80% with the storage system in place.
To optimize electricity production, it was decided to install one optimizer for every two photovoltaic modules. This way, if one module underperforms compared to the others in the same string, it will not affect the production of all modules in the string, thereby limiting the impact.
